Racing Course
The course is 15 hours in length, we spend 2 days on the water (6 hours each). You will learn racing theory, how to fly the spinnaker, and basic racing skills (including; starting, rounding marks, and tactics).
Prerequisites:
Students must have at minimum ASA103 and at least a year of sailing experience (Why Buy Club, or chartering).
Upon Completion:
Upon completion, students will be able to fly spinnakers on our J/22's and have the skills and knowledge to join local racing clubs and continue racing!
Starting Dates:
The 2024 Weekend Race Clinic will be held April 27-28. The theory class will be available online.
Backup Weekend: May 4-5.
Included:
- Access to online theory available on demand, for 3 years.

A full weekend of racing, taught at Chatfield.

Access to spinnakers after completion of the class (for Why Buy Members at Chatfield).
