Outboard Engine Course
Prerequisites:
This class is designed for the recreational user of small outboard engines. Class size is limited to a maximum of 10 students.
Upon Completion:
You will understand the dynamics of how a marine 2-stroke outboard engine works, all of it's different systems, how those systems interact, and basics of maintenance and troubleshooting procedures to keep the engine in tip top running order.
Dates:
The 2024 class set up at this time is December 21st. This class is 1 day and will run from 9am-4pm. The class will be held at our shop location, 11726 Shaffer Place, Unit 606, close to C470 and Ken Caryl Parkway in Littleton, Colorado.
We typically handout all course material at the class.
Included:
- Class notes
- All tools and safety gear
- We will supply coffee & water, pastries for breakfast
The systems covered will include: How the engine works, parts of the engine, cooling system, carburetor, lower leg, head, and propeller
